Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Show up in Google — and in AI search — without paying per click.

Ads bring you leads today. SEO builds the asset that brings them in eighteen months, when you have stopped paying for every click. We run both, which means we can tell you honestly which one your money should be in this quarter.

What's included

  • A technical audit you can act on. Crawlability, indexation, redirects, duplicate titles, orphan pages, Core Web Vitals — findings ranked by what actually moves rankings, not a 200-page export.
  • Fixes implemented, not just recommended. We make the changes in your site. You are not handed a list and left to find a developer.
  • Keyword and intent mapping. One clear target per page, checked for cannibalisation so your own pages stop competing with each other.
  • On-page work. Titles inside the length Google actually displays, headings that match how people phrase queries, internal links that carry authority to the pages that earn money.
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile. Categories, service areas, hours, photos and the NAP consistency that decides whether you appear in the map pack.
  • Structured data. Organization, LocalBusiness, Article, FAQ and breadcrumb markup — the machine-readable layer that both Google and AI assistants read before they cite you.
  • AI search visibility. Content structured so ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews can lift a clean answer and attribute it to you.
  • Monthly reporting against queries, not vanity. Impressions, clicks, position and — where it exists — leads, from Search Console rather than a third-party estimate.

Our approach

It starts with a free 48-hour audit

Before you pay anything, we crawl the site the way a search engine does and come back with what is actually holding it down. Not a generic checklist — the specific pages, the specific tags, the specific blockers, ranked by impact. Plenty of businesses read that audit, fix three things themselves and never hire us. That is a fine outcome.

The first 30 days: clear the blockers

Most small business sites are not held back by content. They are held back by something mechanical: pages Google cannot reach, titles that overshoot the visible limit, a sitemap that disagrees with the site, posts no internal link points at. The first month is spent fixing those, because writing more content on a broken foundation just buries it deeper.

We also set the measurement up properly — Search Console verified, queries baselined, conversions tracked — so that in three months there is a real before to compare against.

Then, every month

  • Content that targets a real query. Written for the person searching, structured so a machine can extract the answer.
  • Internal linking. New pages get linked from existing ones, so they are found and so authority flows where it should.
  • Technical maintenance. Crawl the site again, catch what broke, fix it before it costs rankings.

What it costs

SEO is scoped, not priced off a menu — a five-page local service site and a 300-page store need genuinely different amounts of work, and quoting one number for both would be dishonest. After the free audit you get a written scope with a fixed monthly fee for the work in it.

Two things are always true. We never charge a percentage of anything, and there is no lock-in — the work is month to month, because an agency that needs a contract to keep you is telling on itself.

What results actually look like

SEO compounds, which is a polite way of saying it is slow at the start. Technical fixes can move things within weeks. Content usually takes three to six months to rank, and the compounding shows up in the second year, not the second month. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either bidding on your brand name or about to get you penalised.

We have not published an SEO case study yet, so this page does not show one. When a client result is solid enough to stand up to scrutiny, it will appear here with the same real numbers our ads case studies carry.

Reporting you will actually read

A short monthly note in plain language: which queries moved, what we changed, what we are doing next, and whether any of it produced enquiries. The Search Console data sits behind it if you want to dig, and you keep full access to every property and account — they are registered to you.

Frequently asked questions

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show up in weeks. New content usually takes three to six months to rank, and the real compounding arrives in year two. If the honest answer to your situation is that paid ads will serve you better for the next six months, we will say so.

Is SEO still worth it now that AI answers questions directly?

It matters more, but differently. AI assistants cite sources, and the pages they cite are well-structured, specific and current. The work that earns an AI citation is largely the same work that earns a ranking — clear answers, real data, clean markup. What has died is thin content written to hit a keyword count.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and neither can anyone else honestly. Nobody controls Google. What we can commit to is the work: the audit, the fixes, the content, the reporting — and showing you the query data so you can judge whether it is working.

Do you do the fixes or just tell me what is wrong?

We do them. Handing over a spreadsheet of problems and calling it a deliverable is the oldest trick in this industry. Changes get made in your site, and you see what changed.

Should I do SEO or Google Ads first?

If you need leads this quarter, ads. If you are already profitable on ads and want to stop renting every click, SEO. Most businesses we work with run both, with the split shifting toward organic over time. We run both, so we have no incentive to push you toward one.

Do you build links?

We earn mentions through content, digital PR and directory and profile work that a real business would have anyway. We do not buy links. Paid link schemes are exactly what the spam updates are built to catch, and the downside lands on your domain, not ours.

Who owns the content and accounts?

You. Search Console, Analytics, the Business Profile and every word written for you are registered to your business. If we part ways, nothing has to be rebuilt.

Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?

Yes. We are based in Toronto and work with businesses across Canada. SEO is done remotely regardless, and local SEO for another city is the same work with different geography.
