239 calls from Google Ads
In two months, Eye Site Optic received 239 calls from ads at a cost of CA$5.09 per call.
The challenge
Eye Site Optic wanted to reach more local customers in Scarborough who were actively searching for eye exams, prescription eyewear and optical services. Those customers do not fill in forms — they call the store to ask about a frame, check whether a lens is in stock, or book an exam. The campaign had to be judged on calls from people close enough to walk in, not on clicks.
What we did
- Google Search campaigns focused on high-intent optical keywords rather than broad eyewear terms
- Call extensions so a customer can dial the store directly from the ad
- Location targeting around Scarborough and the neighbouring areas the store serves
- Regular optimisation of keywords, ad copy and bidding against call volume
- Conversion tracking set up to measure calls and the other actions that matter to the store
The results
Over September and October 2026 the campaign delivered 18,170 impressions and 745 clicks at a 4.10% click-through rate, turning those clicks into 239 phone calls alongside 90 reported conversions — a 12.08% conversion rate. Total spend across the two months was CA$1,216.34, which works out to roughly CA$5.09 per reported call and CA$13.51 per reported conversion.
